I haven't shown you any works for a while. For four mounths nothing at all, so now I show you this DRAGON - it's not finished yet, but I decided to present an in-between version, cause I would like to hear your opinions
I've always dreamed to create a DRAGON, with WINGS, TEETH AND EVERYTHING. And who haven't!

Made of spoons, forks, teapot, doorknobs, imbrella, etc

The charm of this metal dragon consists of many different points.

There may have been other dragon sculptures before, but this one is obviously something very technical on the one hand but at the same time so very much alive that you might think it could leap into the sky at any time. The pose makes the spectator think it must have been moving at the time when the photo was taken. The dragon seems to be watching something very curiously which is somehow creepy because of its dangerous yet majestetic appearance. The wings look very fragile and delicate although they are made of a firm material.

The detail is absolutely astonishing. The dragon is made of so many different pieces which match together just perfectly. You can't see any marks of the process of creating the dragon; there isn't any confusing scratch nore a hint of how the making was done. The surface seems to be as smooth as possibly imaginable. With its universal bronze color, it brings together all of the single pieces to one masterpiece, the dragon as a whole.

Furthermore, the choice of the material is remarkable. You can make out most of the details, e.g. the forks at the head or the pieces of an instrument at the neck. It is so versatile that it must have been a lot of work to choose the right materials and then find and get them.

My result:
Originality 4 stars (dragons are a common motif, but the realisation here is totally different)
Technique 5 stars (because of the obvious professionalism)
Impact and Vision 4 1/2 stars (I didn't want to give all of the stars because I know that this workpiece isn't even finished yet. So I'm curious about how it will turn out once finished.)
